068/ AMA: BFCM Sales Edit Pt. 1
A shoe heavy edit: knee high boots, dressy flats, white shoes + oversized coats.
Wow! Yesterday I started a chat asking you to focus my sale edit, and the requests came in fast and furious!
I intend to tackle all 25 requests, and I think it makes most sense to tackle them in batches. It takes a lot of time to source that many pieces, and by the time I’ve assembled them into the newsletter, my selects may have sold out (like a pair of white Khaite flats I found at a steal…boo).
I’ve tackled a third of the responses in this AMA so consider it part one of two (or three). This is a shoe-heavy edit — so many shoe requests!! — of knee-high boots, dressy flats and white shoes. Where it makes sense, I’ve aggregated the requests together.
But, first:
1. The Oversized / Sculptural Coat
“Been really loving all the oversized sculptural jackets/coats...would love to see those in the sales edit!”
“Also looking for slightly oversized grey or navy long coat good for layering when dog walking in Colorado. Getting tired of puffers.”
I feel the same. From my last newsletter:
This seems like a relevant time to mention that, other than whilst skiing or rolling around in the snow with my kids, I haven’t worn a puffer or parka for the last two winters. Controversial opinion, but I haven’t found one yet and thought, “Wow, that’s so stylish, I want to wear that.” Same goes for snow boots. They’re primarily functional pieces.
Wearing cozy layers topped off by long, “roomy, loose overcoats” in natural fibres have kept me sufficiently warm, and bonus: I feel like I’m being hugged by a big, warm, comforting blanket.
No puffers in this list:
