Hello dear readers!
I’m back with the first instalment of How To Build A Foundational Wardrobe. In my introduction post to this series, I stressed that a crucial first step to this process is doing a ruthless closet edit. Hopefully in the last week, you’ve had a chance to read — and put into practice! — Part 1 and Part 2 of the Ins-and-Outs of Closet Editing?
Today, I’ll be laying out the principles behind a foundation wardrobe, why you need one, and the first steps of how to build one for yourself. You can expect at least two more instalments of this series over the next month.
This post not only includes the advice I give to my private clients, but is also based on a presentation I have given dozens of times to banks, accounting firms, university groups, professional organizations, and lawyers — lots of lawyers (tough crowd). If you aren’t already a paying subscriber, a yearly and even founding subscription is well worth the value of this series alone, never mind the access you’ll have to the entire paid archive!
