Vintage sheers + suede jackets + another Japanese reseller (all the Sacai!) + the best from around the web

Today’s Resale Round-up curation was inspired by a couple of my favourite secondhand pieces, namely my vintage sheer Prada skirt and Dior suede fringe jacket!

I’ll also be sharing selects from yet another Japanese reseller whose online presence I stumbled upon recently — one that I was lucky enough to visit in-person whilst in Tokyo:

The in-store shoe wall. For anyone wondering, ¥40,000 = US$250 for those Brunello Cucinelli sneakers.

I scored these practically new-in-box Miu Miu satin ballerinas for CA$250 (US$185).

1) Sheer Skirts

Last fall, I scored this Prada F/W 1999 skirt at VSP, a local consignment store here in Toronto:

Seeing the skirt online, I recognized that if I removed its lining, the resulting sheer skirt would be similar to what’s walking down the runway today:

This led me to looking back through Prada’s archives around this time, and realizing that there’s a gold mine of turn-of-the-millenium sheers existing out there *waves hand*, waiting to found.
