Hello dear readers,
I’m back with more buying mistakes! (In case you missed Part 1, you can find it here.)
Based on the comments to Part 1, “buying mistakes” is something many of you can relate to — and so can I, which is why I have enough material to do a Part 2 (and possibly a Part 3)! Part 1 focused on the red flags the clothes themselves present, while Part 2 will focus on the circumstances surrounding our purchases.
Almost all of what I’ve learned can still be distilled to the underlying principle of Know Thyself — which is the crux of Question #1 of my Five Questions I Ask Myself Before Buying Anything: Do I love it?). I’ll also be addressing Question #2 (Do I need it?) and the societal pressures and messaging we encounter daily which contribute to our missteps. On a brighter note, I’ll share what I’ve learned from all of my experiences. There’s a lot to unpack here, so I look forward to continuing the discussion in the comments!
A reminder that this is the first week that some of my content will be just for paying subscribers. I really believe this newsletter will be valuable for you to make smarter purchasing decisions, so please consider subscribing!
