What I’m Wearing is a series where I share all of the outfits I’ve worn over a given week (or two), along with styling notes, links and related thoughts.
Can't tell you how much I have been enjoying your summer posts! I love seeing how you pack--you create so many great outfits with a limited wardrobe. Do you limit yourself to a carry-on? My APC half-moon bags have also stood up really well over time. P.S. I love Tanner's videos too!
I've been wondering the same. I would love a post showing exactly how you pack a bag for your overseas travels. And how to find space (or do you ship?) for your overseas purchases. It looks like you were well prepared!
Hooray for reliable APC! I don't limit myself to a carry-on and it's never been that important to me. I know people who die on that hill, and I would love to know why the extra 30 minutes isn't worth having everything you want in your bag!
Love this down to the new French vocab word! And certainly not 100% secondhand here — but significant portion. I don’t remember the last outfit I made that didn’t include at least one secondhand piece. 😘
Irene, you are probably the best fashion travel writer I know. Your vacation posts are my favourite and I wonder why nobody noticed yet. You're putting to shame all these 'what to wear in...' articles.
I can't wait to read what that Sard designer has to say about Dolce&Gabbana. This brand has made it its bread and butter to use southern Italy as its canvas for its collections.
Wow, that is an INSANE compliment. Thank you! Being a travel documentarian was something "I wanted to be when I grew up". Maybe I'll start considering it more seriously!

I did that post here! https://irenekim.substack.com/p/the-in-moda-veritas-packing-primer
It's the same strategy I use to pack on this and every other trip! I have never had to ship anything home thus far other than a large ceramic vase.

Love the link to the info on Paris .. I’m going to be there for 3 weeks in October and will follow your route
Enjoy, Kela! I hope you have the best time!

And you do it so well!

You should, you are talented for it, and it definitely distinguishes you!

I'm grateful that my immediate hunt for that pink skirt turned up one on Poshmark! I am always inspired by your outfits.
!!! Did you get it??
